There’s an urgency in my spirit to pray this morning. I would have gone to church to pray if I didn’t know what I know. Mosque? Lol. Shrine? Desecrated. Well, let me stay here on Facebook and pray. After all, God is everywhere. Abi, is God not online?
You might want to know what I want to pray about, won’t you? Oh yez, I bet you want to.
You see that video of the assault of a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria by Nigerians in diaspora (IPOB members or not), is my prayer point. Condemn it or not, something is being started. Call it an Igbo thing, somebody somewhere must start it.
My prayer this morning is that it becomes a trend. As it happened in Germany, let it begin to happen all over Europe, America, Asia, Australia and even other African countries.
I pray our corrupt politicians are harassed, mobbed whenever they leave the shores of Nigeria to whichever country abroad, where they don’t control and monopolise security. May they be harassed and embarrassed by Nigerians in every nooks and crannies of the earth.
I pray that those children that they use our stolen wealth to send to schools abroad, leaving our education to die, are joined in the action. Yes, you can’t deprive and kill other people’s children and send yours to the best schools in the best climes. It’s mortal wickedness!
You can call it hooliganism, barbaric, shameful, disrespectful or whatever. Na you sabi. No revolution is ever lawful. Besides, our leaders use worse methods against the people they are supposed to be serving.
Do you really know how much of a shame and disaster Nigeria has become to the whole world because of our hooliganistic and barbaric politicians? And you want the people to use legit means and kid gloves? No, you obviously don’t know.
Well since today is Sunday, there’s nothing wrong in praying with scriptures, is there?
The bible says in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. FOR WITH THE SAME MEASURE THAT YE METE WITHAL IT SHALL BE MEASURED TO YOU AGAIN.”
You can’t give people shit and expect them to give you champagne in return. It’s not done. Our politicians milk the people dry, loot our common wealth, kill those that resisted and are getting away with murder. I pray they don’t anymore. I pray this fire spreads and consumes all our corrupt politicians.
In this revolution, I believe and I pray for its success.
Revolution of the people, by the people and for the people.
Let the people shout AMEN!
