No less than a quarter of the people in Jerry Eze’s crowd were NOT born when Reinhard Bonnke drew triple the crowds you see in this arena.
There was Bonnke. There was Billy Graham and so many others. Pastor Jerry Eze himself was likely NOT born or was a kid when Bonnke was performing unverified miracles in Nigeria. Large crowds are never a proof of “God’s presence”. It only means large crowds of sleeping people. Bonnke claimed eye sight miracles in Nigeria but he had eye glasses on when making those claims.
Go to UK now, the minor Jerry Eze used to claim the lame work, is still on Wheelchair. Prior to Jerry Eze, there was Benson Idahosa. There was Pastor Hair Fryer. It’s just Jerry’s time now because he is a Millennial. Hair fryer did more than this.
Bottom line, after large crowds of prayer crusades, NOTHING has changed in Nigeria and most of Africa. Absolutely nothing has changed. Crime is still up, moral decadence is up, average lifespan is low. Debt is also up. Wickedness, Fraud and Inflation are also up. Every unwanted situation is UP. If a system functions as it ought to function, you would find only a handful of people in prayer conference. Don’t say he pulled same crowds in UK because it’s the same African Namas that ran away from their countries that filled the stadium.
Those who brought you the religion Jerry represents were not in Jerry’s UK crowd because they’ve moved on.
Nonetheless, it is a hard pill to swallow.
